Benton Sans — Typographic specimen

Versatile, far-reaching typeface
The project goal was to design a Typographical Specimen landing page that would showcase the typeface Benton Sans. The landing page should use the story behind the typeface in order to create a page that reflects the personality whilst revealing the benefits of why and where it can be used as a typographical or visual element in design.
Solution
Ordered chaos
I developed a website that highlighted the typeface’s versatility through dynamic layouts using overlapping text, letters as shapes and busy composition that mimic the ordered chaos of the city. I added a fun edge to the landing page by using poems, song lyrics and quotes from New York, the birth place of Benton Sans.
